Two Twiggies is a song of mine that has been waiting a long time to be completed. Years and years. I was waiting for lyrics to come to me. When they didn't arrive, I decided to turn the song into an instrumental piece for this album. As soon as I made that commitment – you guessed it – some lyric ideas came to me. So this is the result – an instrumental song with lyrics. Make sense? That's Daryl Kozub singing with me on this one. Listen for a 'quote' from the melody of the previous song that comes near the end of this song. You'll also hear a neighbourhood Blue Jay with its interesting two-note-same-pitch 'squeaky faucet' courtship call, here and there throughout the song . On this piece I play keyboards, acoustic guitars, Bass VI, and magnetic table.

Lyrics

Two Twiggies hook up on the phone
Wondering why we feel so alone
I fell in love with you the first time I thought of you.

Two Twiggies hook up on the phone
Wonder what happens when the time's all gone
I fell in love with you the first time I thought of you

Who would've thought it would be so long
I fell ... I fell ... I fell in love with you
