This was the flip side (b-side) of our 1985 single, "I Could Get Closer To You". It's quite the opposite of the A-side . . . pretty audacious! The lyrics are pretty neurotic. And that ridiculous out-of-control guitar was played by Jamie Philp on a cheap Tombo (Italian) guitar which had to be retuned after every take in our recording. Jamie went pretty nuts on the whammy bar, as you can hear. I think we used some pretty outrageous effects on it, too.
